Revolution in “ Great Engineering Industry”

The history of Prefab homes emerged as a Emergency Factory Made Homes, it was believed these homes are temporary that will provide shelter from the Government’s Housing Policy. After the war with Germany in 1944 it was adopted as temporary factory made dwellings. This consideration of Nobel Friend Lord Portal brought the Great Engineering Industry into the Revolution. The government’s manufactures didn’t wait for war to end to begin the production and erecting the factory made homes worth 150,000,000 pound by spring 1944 and named it as Portal House.
